Chris Haney
Founder & CEO

Mr. Haney is a Disabled Veteran who served honorably in the United States Air Force as an EMT and Fireman supporting A-10 attack fighter planes. He served the bulk of his service at England AFB in Louisiana with a notable years’ service in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm.Chris spent over 19 years in various executive positions in some of the top IT Staffing and Solutions companies in the country.

Tyler Collins
Manager of Business Development

Tyler was born and raised in Sacramento and still calls it home today. He built his career as an Enterprise Software Salesman with a local SaaS company. From there he joined DVBE Connect in February of 2018 where he served as the Lead Recruiter and honed his recruiting skills. He now acts as the Manager of Business Development where he uses his technical knowledge and unique sales ability to drive and grow new business. When he is not at work he can either be found on the golf course or on some body of water with his wife and golden retriever.

Matthew Woodward joined DVBE Connect as an experienced IT Staffing and Services Professional working with some of the biggest and fastest growing companies in the country over the past several years. Like many, Matthew has several relatives and friends that have served the country in our military, and DVBE Connect’s mission to serve the community in general but especially our veterans was a vision that aligns with his personal beliefs and goals perfectly. He is naturally curious and an avid networker; he’s always up for discussing new technology trends around Infrastructure, cyber-security, Healthcare IT and many more. Occasionally, you’ll find him networking at user groups for MS SQL Server, the local PMI chapter, and Security groups and he’s always open to learning about more.

When he’s not working, Matthew loves camping, golfing, professional sports and spending time with his family, friends and his dog.

Director of Veteran Programs

Jeff Douglas has over 29 years of experience in the public sector working in management and as an internal consultant with subject matter expertise in a wide variety of organization development and talent management topics. Before retiring from State service in 2018, Jeff served as Chief of the Workforce Development and Special Projects Division at the California Department of Human Resources where he oversaw statewide program and policy work associated with workforce/succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, recruitment and training for a civil service workforce that exceeded 220,000 employees. In his civil service career, Jeff also lead strategic business planning initiatives and he implemented enterprise governance models at multiple state departments. Jeff has served as President of the Sacramento Area Organization Development Network and Chair of the California Network of Learning Professionals Board. Jeff holds a B.S. degree in Business, Accounting from California State University Fresno and he is a retired Major from the California Air National Guard.
